I picked my son up from school being that it's half day today and he's holding some beautiful Lilacs in his hand and as any boy mom would do I got a bit jealous b/c I assumed they were for some little girl who's got a crush on him so I felt a bit jealous and our convo goes as follows... Mom: "Woah, where is this little girl at so Mommy can tell you to either run or maybe she's a keeper
Son: "laughs"
Son: "mom I'm keeping this one
Mom: "oh really"
Son: "yes ma'am"
Mom: "sighs"
Son: "because that girl isn't just a girl, she's an intelligent woman and her name is mom... Yes, I end up in tears but that's why being a mother to my son was the best gift God could have ever blessed me with in life...?
