Early forms of #geoprene were on every Apollo Space Mission. And in December of 1972, on Apollo 17, astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt spent 75 hours on the Moon in the Taurus-Littrow Valley. Colleague, Ronald Evans, orbited overhead and captured the moment. The image shows geologist Schmitt on the left, at the edge of Shorty Crater, where he discovered orange lunar soil.
