Mavi continues to support the activities of the Ecological Research Society (EKAD) with the Indigo Turtles Project, helping to protect the endangered sea turtles as a testament to the brand’s commitment to supporting a sustainable world.
As Mavi, just like for the past 12 years, this year we were in Belek as part of our Indigo Turtles project to protect the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles and support the work of the Ecological Research Association. 🐢💙
The @ekadofficial association and its volunteers carry out protection and rescue efforts, day and night, for five months along the 30 km Belek coastline — from guarding the mother turtles’ eggs to ensuring the hatchlings safely reach the sea — so that Caretta Carettas can return to the blue waters. As the Mavi volunteer team, we also participate in EKAD’s fieldwork, observing the opening of unhatched nests, who are now in danger, and helping the hatchlings find their way to the water. We then step back to let the natural cycle unfold.
