The Transport is cut shorter and wider than Barbour’s classic Bedale or Beaufort, originally designed for ease of movement. The 6oz waxed cotton shell is wind-resistant and naturally water-repellent, developing creases and patina where the fabric folds and moves. The corduroy collar, raglan sleeves and generous body make it easy to layer without feeling restrictive.
The fatigue pants are rooted in US military OG-107 design — large front patch pockets, button fly, straight leg and a mid-to-high rise that gives the silhouette structure. orSlow reproduces them in Japan using slow-woven cotton twill, giving the fabric density and depth without stiffness. They soften gradually but keep their shape.
Technically different origins — British outerwear and American military utility — but proportionally they just work. Cropped, boxy upper half. Structured, straight lower half.
