Growing up playing basketball as a girl, everything was different.
As a 12 year old, I wanted to sign up for Magic Johnson's basketball camp, but it was for boys only. This led to me writing a long letter to Magic Johnson expressing my disdain, with bullet points as to why girls should be allowed. The WNBA didn’t even exist until my first year of college!
Watching a young force like Juju coming up in this era is a huge inspiration. Although we've made strides, resources in women's sports still pale in comparison to those available to men. We believe that with enough momentum and like minded communities coming
together, the culture behind these types of disparities can be shifted forever. For this collection we used premium materials and took a nod from basketball references from my youth. Our home team, the Manifesters, have vision, tenacity and depth, just like Juju.
