Part of the Atherton Tablelands’ Waterfalls Circuit, the picture-perfect Millaa Millaa Falls drop 18.3 meters into a beautiful waterhole, surrounded by tropical greenery. Millaa Millaa is an Aboriginal phrase meaning “plenty of water” and that’s exactly what this is!
Captured beautifully by @frugalfrolicker, the falls are just 90 minutes south of Cairns, and the site is easy to access with plenty of parking and facilities. There’s a picnic area to enjoy after you swim – and don’t forget to keep an eye out for platypus!
