Photographer, Alan Barker captured his finalist entry in the Merrell Photo Comp when holidaying in Far North Queensland. On a drive between Cairns and Port Douglas he spotted the mangroves featured in his picture and being a self-confessed “light snob” came back before dawn to shoot the scene.
