🔊6 TIPS to cooking food throughout the week when you’re feeling lazy AF 👇🏽
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We all have those nights when we get home late from work & have zero motivation to prepare anything for dinner. I feel you. It’s called adulting and it’s bound to happen once in a while. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If weight loss is your number one goal, consistency is going to be key so you need to come up with a plan — especially for those busier week-day nights. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Consider the following tips to help adhere to macros:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Prep 2-3 servings of a protein and a carb on Sunday so you have something cooked and ready to eat in advance for the week. Grab a frozen veggie and you have a few days worth of meals done. Eating left overs isn’t always fun but it’s usually a better option than ordering something on the fly.

2. Have “meals on deck.” I like to refer to these as easy to prep meals that require very little planning and effort. Examples of meals on deck: tuna in a can with some Mary’s gone crackers, Amy’s soup, frozen turkey patties with frozen veggies, omelette with veggies, Low-fat Greek yogurt with fruit, cottage cheese with fruit.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Plan your meals before the start of your day so you hold yourself accountable and aren’t left to make any last minute decisions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. If you’re starving when you get home, have a high protein snack to hold you over instead of making a last minute quick decision based off hanger.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Consider a BAS (big ass salad): grab every veggie you have in the kitchen, a can of tuna, or some eggs, or that chicken you prepped on Sunday and throw it all into a bowl. Simple and healthy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. Pick up a rotisserie chicken from the super market on the way home. Rotisserie chicken from your local super market will probably be a better bet than ordering food off seamless or picking up a couple slices of pizza or fast food on the way home.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember, (if weight loss is your number one goal), we’re not always going to be perfect (& that’s OK!) so the idea is to try and be as consistent as possible. 😎
