How do I stay motivated? I don’t.
.
I force myself to create habits instead, so routine, rather than motivation, takes over. It’s my secret to consistency because no one is motivated 100% of the time.
.
I schedule my workouts like meetings, like really. I put them on my calendar, mark myself as busy, and make sure it gets done. I wouldn’t skip a work meeting without a legit excuse so I treat training the same way. I started doing this about 4 years ago when I went back to work as a new mom with a husband working and in grad school, it helped a stressed time-poor mama stay committed even on the hard days.
.
I also love scheduling my workouts because life is in constant flux, this allows me to see where I can squeeze time in for me even when life gets crazy!
So, here’s how this week is looking:
Monday 12:00 : Lift-legs
Tuesday 1:00: 15 min HIIT sprints + BBG abs
Wednesday 12:00: 15 min HIIT BBG legs
Thursday 12:00: 15 min HIIT lift- back/biceps
Friday 12:00: 15 min HIIT lift- shoulders
Saturday 8:30: lift - chest/triceps
Sunday: REST
.
Do you schedule your workouts?

Also, should I share how I plan my meals? We’re back to macro tracking this week, pray for me!
