This is just my opinion, but sometimes the things we do feel good even though they might not actually be helping our body or mind the way we think.
1. Coffee on an Empty Stomach ☕️
I was guilty of this for years, but eventually I realized they were right … drinking coffee before eating really can mess with your gut.
2. Overdoing the Supplements 💊
Taking too many supplements can cause nutrient imbalances or harmful interactions. Talk to a profesh!
3. Fasted Cardio Every Morning 🏃🏽♀️
Fasted workouts can impact stress hormones and negatively affect hormonal health. My 40+ self is not about that life.
4. Obsessing Over 10,000 Steps 🚶🏽♀️
Yaaa, I’m guilty of this, but tbh I find focusing too much on step counts started to create guilt and reduce the actual joy in movement.
5. Chugging Water All Day 💧
I personally drink a lot of water … a lot! But I’ve been told that drinking water constantly can dilute stomach acid and hurt digestion.
6. Eating Your Kids’ Leftovers Instead of Having Your Own Meal 🍽️
For starters, you deserve better than chicken fingers! Plus, skipping your own meal to eat leftovers means you’re likely missing important nutrients and energy.
7. Constantly Putting Everyone Else First ❤️🩹
Taking care of yourself helps you care better for others. End of story.
