You know what’s actually healthy? Being genuinely happy 🤍
I sent out a newsletter 15 mins before leaving my house yesterday titled - “New Year & A Little Bit Better.”
I had every intention of coming onto stories to share the newsletter and talk about why you should read it but I was late to a gf’s house for plans we had made a week or two ago
I decided that in that moment I had the opportunity to practice one of the things I shared in that newsletter: removing the guilt of “what I should do/ haven’t done” and instead focus on what I GET to do - which in that moment was get to my gf’s house
There were two moments in my time w/ them last night where I thought “I should be home working” & I had to tell myself - this is necessary & more importantly - healthy
Health isn’t just about the food you eat or the amount of time you workout. It’s also about the quality of your relationships & the way you allow yourself to be poured into. The more you allow for those moments, the more full & joyful you feel
After 2-3 really hard & challenging years, I’m ready for more moments of joy. Moments of being with people I love, not rushing to get to the next thing & removing any shame or guilt
I wasn’t excited at the end of the year but after reflecting on how I want to show up, it became clear to me what I needed to do to show up as my healthiest & happier self. I opened up about what I’m changing & shared the five things I’m doing differently in 2026 to feel more grounded, supported, and genuinely happy - if you want to read it, comment HAPPY and I’ll send it your way🤍
