Sometimes all black really is the mood. 🖤 Has your family been talking to your kids about the grief-inducing things happening in the world in age appropriate ways? Mine are tweens and teens variety at this point, so we talk pretty frankly, but since they could understand words, I’ve been a huge believer in teaching kids to have compassion for all people, which IMO starts with acknowledging and naming harms in the world, in ways they can understand, to see the hard things and understand there are always ways to help, even if they’re small (actually, ESPECIALLY so). 💕 Would love to hear the language you’re using and your kids’ ages.
