Willow has me waking up every 3 hours for a feed. Postpartum is no joke. My milk came in late (due to a bad latch), so we are playing a game of catch up as she regains her birthweight with top ups after nursing. Every single feed has us waking up fully... it’s a bit of an orchestra. We nurse for 30-40 minutes, then I pump while topping her up with the milk pumped from the last feed. Wash pumps, wash bottles. Annnnd repeat every 3 hours. Once her mouth grows a bit better and can latch better, and she gains all her weight back, we can start dream feeding at night. I’m close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. (That’s not to say I’m all better now.... that’s another work in progress...) but breastfeeding is not easy. This is baby 4, and we struggle with it every single time. Has anyone else here had nursing challenges?
