Being a mom is everything delicate and everything tough. It is brave and it is work fit for a queen. Motherhood is gentle, yet brutal. Honestly, most days I don’t think anything of it. Motherhood is mundane and extraordinary and sometimes I forget but other times it’s all consuming. Mothers are all forms and all shapes and all roles but always important. Birth, adopted, step, or just women who know how to fill in the gaps they see - so vital to the flourishing of each and every one of us. Thankful to be a mom, thankful to have my mom, thankful for my grandmas, and thankful to all the women who have formed, shaped and nurtured my heart. What an honor, to be loved by you.
