Life is better when we feel better. Emotions we feel on a daily basis highly contribute to our overall happiness in life. Yesterday I went to the beach. I had originally dressed in all black (black protects your energy, I have lived in all black for a while) it’s also a whole vibe that I truly love. Ever since being back on island, I’ve wanted to get back to my roots. I actually love white and feel most alive & myself when I’m wearing white 👼🏼 I had my bag packed & tossed over my shoulder, towel & keys in hand when I decided I felt like shit. I changed into white, added some gold to make myself feel better. It’s the little things that have the power to change a lot (if we allow them to—perspective) My whole vibe changed which in turn upped my confidence. Life is better when we feel better but remember this “wherever you go, there you are.” We might feel better when we get dressed up, BUT it doesn’t get rid of any low vibing emotions we may have living in us. Nope. THOSE are still there. It’s our job to either live with them (I don’t recommend this) or we can unpack, process & let them go baby. I set off to the beach, parked & it started pouring rain. I hiked down the red, muddy trail that leads to a pristine beach with the cleanest sand. You know the kind with the broken up shells that make up most of the sand? The thick sand that massages your feet as you walk? So good! Looking for a place to hide from the rain, I sat in a cave but after 30 secs said fuck it & plopped in the sand under the rain. I sat there & cried. It felt so good. After a few hours of the sky & I crying together, the sun peeped out & dried me off as I wiped my tears 🌞 You ever have a cry sesh that feels so liberating? Yup. That was me yesterday. I felt all the feels & let them move & groove through me. Yes, life is better when we feel better. What do you do to make yourself feel better? Do you cover up the emotions you don’t want to face or do you put in solid work to process & release them, consistently moving into a healthier & happier space? These can be rhetorical questions or you can answer in the comments 🥰 sending you all #love ✨ you are not alone, you are never alone.
