“I grew up on the Mediterranean coast in France, on the border of France and Spain. I knew how to swim before to knew how to walk, I was always in the water since a very young age. I tried all of the water sports: Stand up Paddle, Wakeboard, Kitesurf, snorkeling but there were still no waves... trying to surf was always a dream.

I grew up and became a woman, a Designer/ Interior Architect, all day long behind a desk and in a relationship with a guy that was not so nice. My dream to surf was pretty far behind me, he forbade me to do a lot of stuff at this time. I was scared of him, to live, to realize everything I wanted to do for myself. After 7 years with that person, I got enough strength and power to leave this life that just wasn’t making me happy and I decided to move to Hossegor, a place I had always dreamed of visiting.

Since that day I arrived in Hossegor, I promised myself to do my best, to fight everyday to be that woman I always dreamed to be. After I finished my masters degree, I made my first surfboard and got a internship in one of the best Surfboard Factories of Europe. As I was getting better with surfing, my passion for shaping was growing too. Surfista Surfboards was born.

The water provides me protection, freedom, and all the happiness I need. I kept going with my dreams and traveled to discover new surf spots. I’ve been surfing incredible spots, been diving with dolphins, sharks, turtles and manta rays... it’s hard to explain that feeling when I’m in the water. Now I try to share this happiness through my surfboards I make. I try to make my customers as happy as I am, and I try to share all those good vibes I can feel when I’m in the water. The water makes me strong, and for that I will always be thankful.” - @surfista_surfboards
