"I am a #womenofthewater. I was born in landlocked Kansas, but we spent summers in Long Island and I spent every second at the beach. When I was 16, I studied abroad in Australia and became scuba certified by a course that would forever change my life. Since then, I’ve dove everywhere from the frigid waters of Alaska, unique waters of Galapagos, to the warm waters of Indonesia, Philippines, Palau, Honduras, Bahamas, Tonga and the list goes on. I met my husband through diving and we celebrated our love in the caves of Mexico. We’ve called the rich waters of California our home for the past decade. To dive Monterey Bay is one of the most blessed opportunities of my life. I live in Santa Cruz and surf anytime my body allows. I’m currently growing a future water child and I can’t wait to share the beauty of the sea with him ? the water is my life, my passion, my calming presence and my home." - @midwestfish
