Regardless of how you celebrate Christmas, where you spend it & who with, there's always special moments that will stay with you for a lifetime. Being able to come together with people you love and often don't get to see all the time, is such a heartwarming & beautiful time

We spoke to the lovely Madina (@thesematters) about how her family spend the season ? ✨ ...
"We are a very multicultural family with my husband being Dutch and myself being born in Russia but carrying five different bloods. And so, our family traditions are all mixed up starting from which holidays we celebrate and ending with what meals we cook. In Holland, Christmas is one of the main holidays, where as for Russians it's the New Year's Eve so our family celebrates both. Every year we ask ourselves a question where and with who to celebrate, and the exciting news is that this time, most of our relatives are coming from Russia, and we will spend some (hopefully wonderful) weeks all together with my husband's side. This means a lot of cooking all kinds of cuisines, mixing up all the languages all the time, wrapping dozens of presents and celebrating two big holidays one after another. For our girl this is going to be the second time, and I hope she understands more now. Knowing how special the New Years Eve felt to me as a child, I am looking forward to letting Aveline feel some magic in her life too. ✨"
