Baby sleeping in a cot of moses basket is the safest way to sleep, but co-sleeping is possible, as long as done safely. Here are a few tips*:
- Don't use pillows, sheets, duvets, blankets or anything else in the bed.
- Make sure baby can not fall out of the bed
- Never fall asleep in a chair or sofa with baby
- Put baby to sleep on their back
- Don't co-share if either of you smoke, have drunk alcohol or are taking prescription drugs
- Don't co-share if you are extremely tired
