Project #1 might look familiar to you. We’re calling it “Friendship Beads”. Think of the friendship bracelets you loved to make, and then add in a bit of MudLOVEy flavor. Choose your bracelet cord (called a Viona of course), then design a series of beads to create a special message all your own. Are you picturing it now?

Finally, we did say this was a celebration of #GivingTuesday. And well, there’s a lot to explain. Here’s the basic rundown: We’ve partnered with Vida Plena (@2ndmilemissions) to create jobs for women in the Dominican Republic. They’re hand-weaving your Viona cords with precise skill, and a newfound joy. We’ve joined the #Pledge1 movement, so that 1 percent of the sales of all Makers products will support the advancement of art education (specifically our friends at @spoonfulofimagination). And of course, all MudLOVE Makers products will provide clean water in the Central African Republic through @water_for_good.
