In times of peace, and in times of chaos, water is always needed.
Last week, an outburst of violence in the Central African Republic resulted in the offices of @water_for_good being looted. This is a heavy loss for our nonprofit partner.
Water for Good is not new to this scenario, and they are committed to serving the people of the C.A.R. After having their offices looted in 2013, Water for Good has been able to drill dozens of wells (on track for 50 new wells this year alone) and has continued to provide regular service visits to 900+ water pumps, serving 500,000 people. Operating in the middle of a conflict zone, it is truly amazing, and life-saving work.
