"When Greg and I began dating and eventually talking marriage, adoption became part of our dialogue. We were confident God was calling us to build our family through adoption. In January 2014 we began the lengthy process of an international adoption. We qualified for many wonderful countries but eventually our hearts burst wide open for Ethiopia. Greg and I, along with many other families, anticipate a long wait to bring our children home to their forever families. In the years of waiting, paperwork, fees, court dates, and other items pile high but mostly our hearts ache to love and care for our precious son or daughter. Because our wait is estimated to be so long (another 2 years at minimum) we are beginning to consider a domestic adoption. While the orphan population escalates in other parts of the world, we also feel called to nurture a child in our community. Our set of challenges doesn’t rival any other family but winning this donation of bracelets will give two children a family to laugh, cry, fall, succeed, and fall in love with on a daily basis.
