“These kids sat quietly with us while we investigated their old water source. This was probably the shortest hike we had to take as a team. The water source was a creek tributary to a larger river, and was comprised mostly of runoff from the topsoil. It was peaceful there with them. There was a smell in the air of fresh manioc and mango, and the sound effects of river and wind; not to mention the spectating voices of the birds and old trees.” -Codey
