"The best part of this walk? People don't have to make it anymore. It was a brutal, 5km hike to their old water source in the hot sun. But I was able to enjoy the sweat and sore muscles because I knew that the people of Mbaïki had a clear water source right in the middle of their village. They used to make the walk we were on, but not anymore. I'll never forget it.” -Kyle
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be sharing photos and stories from last month’s journey to the Central African Republic. This is a trip that has been delayed for months due to the country’s ongoing internal conflicts. There are images of chaos and joy. There are stories of hope and despair. While only a few of us made the trip, our entire staff feels inspired to continue working with @water_for_good, bringing clean water and good health to our friends across the world. Thank you for being a part of this community. With your support, together we can be love.
