Sasha Carnevali’s (@cakemaniaitalia) grandparents bought this 17th-century villa — complete with frescoes on the kitchen walls — after World War II as a country escape. “Like many people who have lived through a war, my grandmother accumulated a lot of stuff,” says Sasha. “I loved the idea of using this scale of hers to weigh the plums I picked to make preserves.” #WHPinthekitchen
