Wayne Skivington’s (@wayne_skiv04) four-year-old son Rowan doesn’t need a jungle gym — he has a Cirque du Soleil acrobat for a dad. “The other day I was doing a handstand and he climbed onto me. He crawls up on my shoulders and crosses his legs,” says the 29-year-old dad and gymnast who lives in Las Vegas. “Sometimes he grabs my hair. It’s his saddle!” Juggling a demanding work and exercise schedule when his son was born, Wayne built a home gym in order to spend more time with his family. Rowan would crawl in to watch his father, so it was only a matter of time before Wayne became his son’s very own special monkey bars. “What I do is lift people. Feeling and balancing Rowan, we connect in a way other than talking,” Wayne says. “As a kid, you sit on your dad’s shoulders and you remember that forever. Our bond is a little bit more.” Video by @wayne_skiv04
