Tommy Trenchard (@tommy.trenchard) followed a local octopus hunter into the tidal flats off of Zanzibar to capture this photo revealing life beneath the ocean’s surface. “Trying to keep up was almost impossible amid sea urchins, starfish and sharp coral,” says the photojournalist. He adds that the skill of Mama Juma (pictured) “is especially impressive when you consider that she works in a long flowing dress.”
