In Las Coloradas, Mexico, a pink sea exists. The small fishing village on the Yucatán Peninsula is home to tinted waters — thanks to unusually high quantities of tiny brine shrimp. “I couldn’t believe what I saw,” says Marisa Hampe (@marisahampe), a German traveler who discovered the spot through Instagram during a trip to Mexico. “I had never heard of a pink sea; it’s a unique and magical place, like a dream.”
