“We saw kids throwing water over the edge of the dam, and we couldn’t help but imitate them,” says Leslie Hutchings (@leslieh138) of her slo-mo video submission to #WHPpostcard, taken at the Hoover Dam. “The structure of the dam creates an upward draft that’s invisible, and we didn’t realize how powerful it was until we poured water into it.”
