Returning to Senegal, where he lived for several years, Finbarr felt renewed affection for familiar scenes. “I wanted to capture a simple moment reflecting the daily beach culture that is such a part of life in Dakar,” he says. “I’m not sure how many pairs of sunglasses he sold that day.”
