Sequence is the secret for the vibrant and striking colors of Lexi Hannah’s (@lexihannah.art) watercolor drip paintings. “I’m surprised with the way they turn out,” the New York-based artist and muralist says. To make her work more interactive, Lexi places her phone on a box light in her studio and taps into the time-lapse feature. “Over time, I found that the most gratifying thing about art is the process,” she says. “To enjoy life in general, you have to be present. That’s how I view art. It’s therapeutic and a good thing for the soul.”
