Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPbigreveal
The goal this weekend is to reveal something unexpected through video. This is a common technique in movies, and now with this weekend's Hashtag Project it's your turn to try! Some tips to get you started:
Pan slowly at a controlled, sustained rate to avoid confusing a viewer's eye (and inducing motion sickness). Go slower than you think you need to—and then go slower than that. Timing is everything, so have an appropriate build up to your big reveal. Don't reveal your surprise too early or you'll lessen its impact. Finally, surprise us! What you reveal can be anything. Have fun with it, and show us something funny, beautiful or unexpected in any way.
