Oh so close... Defending a 450 supercross title is one of the toughest things to achieve in our sport, and @cooperwebb2 came so damn close in 2020. Cooper has had his fair share of haters over the years, but it'd be hard NOT to be impressed with the resilience and fight that this guy showed throughout the season. His battle with Eli Tomac in the mud race at Utah was one of the gutsiest rides we've seen in a long time, not to mention his podium performance in Atlanta just 7 days after his huge crash in Arlington. Justifying his reputation as one of the toughest riders in the field, we can't help but feel that Cooper's 2020 season was just as impressive as his championship winning 2019, even if he did fall just short of back-to-back titles 🏆
