@mxgp racing is back! 🙌🏼 The first round in Latvia threw up some mixed results for our Aussie boys on an absolutely brutal racetrack, but it was great to see them back in action and they all showed some serious speed ⚡ Bring on Round 4 on Wednesday!
In MXGP, @mitchevans43 showed some great speed throughout the day but found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time in a first corner pile up. In his first race back from shoulder surgery, Mitch took 19-18 moto scores to finish 19th overall 🇦🇺
In MX2, @jedbeaton14 recovered from a tough start in Moto 1 to claw his way back up to 15th, then rebounded well in Moto 2 for 6th to take 9th overall. Qualifying in 3rd, Jed knows he has the speed to be battling up front 💪🏼
@_nathan199 showed huge improvements throughout the day, qualifying in 22nd place, then 14th in Moto 1, and an MX2 career high 8th in Moto 2 to finish 12th overall 👏🏼
@bailey_malkiewicz_47 had a tough day, suffering from arm pump and kidney pains but battled through on the brutal track to take 21-26 moto scores 🇦🇺
In the EMX250 championship, @calebgrothues60 had some unfortunate luck with two mechanicals in practice, the second of which led to a crash that injured his knee. Heal up quick mate! 💪🏼
