Glenn Kearney was an absolute legend right to the end of his career which just finished up on Saturday, at this years 4 Day Enduro. (He ended up in the runner up spot in E1).
He raced for us for a few years before heading to the States where he and his gal Krystal teamed up to win lots of races and the hearts of many Americans. The name Kearney just brings a smile to my face when I think of what he’s achieved and our friendship, but many Pro racers really know him for his toughness.
Here is an example of it. In the German ISDE he crashed about 2/3 the way through day 3 injuring his left knee. He kept going to finish the last 2-3 hours of the day still pushing right to the end, as seen in this series of shots where he crashes again on that bad knee. That afternoon he got it stitched up plus again the following night, but never would have thought of pulling out and letting his team mates down.
