GB riding for the American ISDE Trophy team from 3 straight years?! Here he explains in his own words how that all came about "In the mid 80's when I was trying to scrape out a living from racing, Australia was certainly a very hard at that time so off I moved to the States to try my luck! I was forced to surrender my AUS licence before they were able to issue me the needed clearance to get a USA licence. Therefore was forced to otherwise not ride the event at all, or I rode for the USA team. Crazy and sad times in some ways so all I could do to show a little Aussie pride was to run a Roo on my helmet that was flying the American flag. On a more patriotic note I did also ride another 23 of the 6 days for the Aussies"🙌
