Lily Bandak was born in Amman, Jordan and attended school in Bethlehem. She migrated to the US in 1960 and resided in Newark, Delaware. She was educated at the Academie De La Grande Chaumier in Paris, The Philadelphia College of Art, The University of Delaware and the Antonelli College of Photography. She passed away on September 11, 2021 after nearly 40 years of living with MS.
