Our clutches and pencil cases are crafted in the town of Saharanpur famous for its cottage industry and wood carvings. Our craftsman Bahar Ahmed has spent decades perfecting this laborious and highly-skilled craft that originated in the 19th century; he carefully carves Sheesham wood with intricate motifs, fills the fine lines with brass taar, and gently hammers them into place.
