Our second project site with @growtrees_global took us to the Sundarbans. This is the habitat of the famous Royal Bengal Tiger, an important part of both the ecology and economy of the Sundarbans. By re-greening this region, we aim to help in disaster mitigation, prevent shifting and submergence of the islands due to the rising sea levels, and provide more opportunities for livelihood to the largely landless communities.
