It’s Lohri today, and our checklist includes a big bonfire, a hot cuppa, and bowlfuls of snacks—from chikki and rewri to popcorn and peanuts.
Traditionally, the festival not just celebrates the harvest of rabi crops, but is believed to welcome the sun to the northern hemisphere and mark the end of harsh winter. We hope this Lohri brings with it the promise of much-needed comfort: for you, for us, and for our farmers whom harvest concerns the most.
