Trees were woven into the fabric of Nicobar right from the start. The Treehouse—our studio at Tulsi Farms—was built without cutting a single tree, even when it meant amending plans and ceding 50% of the intended square footage to leave the trees where they stood. The building today stands in the shade of many varities of trees, all of which bear fruits and flowers and surprise us with their changing avatars through the year.
