Syzygium Cumini, commonly known as Jamun, is an evergreen tropical tree that we planted at the Singhbhum Elephant Reserve in Jharkhand. Jamun's leaves are used to decorate traditional wedding pandals; its timber is favoured for building agricultural equipment; and its sweet-and-sour fruit, well, needs no introduction. You, too, can participate in our next tree-planting project by gifting someone a grove of trees. Head to the link in our bio for more details. 🌳
