Diwali is one of our favourite times of year; a day for us all to come together right before the season turns and winter sets in here in North India.
In 2020 we're finding different ways of sharing this light with our families and loved ones, because Diwali offers us the opportunity for closeness even as we socially distance. Across the country (and the globe) Indians will honour Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance, of material blessings and the bestower of wisdom and wealth in their own way.
Tonight's Diwali celebrations might be quieter than the years past, but today we celebrate ✨LIGHT✨.
