Many change their lifestyle to a healthier one at this time of the year. I’ve done a big change from a sugar addict and emotional eater to where I am now. I collected my thoughts about changing lifestyle below to support those who are in that process. Briefly… I think that:
❤
It’s good to take the attitude that you don’t have to give up things, but you can get new positive things instead.
❤
Nobody can keep up a long term diet which is constructed on eating meal replacements. Learn how to cook delicious but healthy food.
❤
If 80 or 90 percent of the food is healthy, 20-10 percent can be anything. I don’t believe in strict diets.
❤
Eat good quality and prefer organic food if possible. Your taste will change and a clean body craves for clean food.
❤
Something is better than nothing. The right direction is enough. Don’t require perfection. Be flexible.
❤
Eat enough.
❤
Investing in versatility. Both in sports and food.
❤
Don’t stare at a weight scale or measurements.
❤
Balance is the key. Listen to your body and what it tells you.
❤
Give time to yourself for the rest of your life. Step by step.
❤
Changing lifestyle is not easy but it’s worth it. Definitely.
❤
You are already good. Make the change just because you want the best for yourself. You and your closest ones deserve it. ?
