This photo was taken by my boyfriend during a photoshoot (when I didn't notice)... Today when I saw it I thought I will tell you or remind, that behind the photos there are usually many tries. So many that I always feel very tired after a photoshoot. There are the rare few that come with the first or second shot.

Many things can seem easy, almost perfect. We know it but we still forget that it's not that simple usually. ?

When I take photos for my account, that's not a yoga practice. That is art. Yoga is before, when I practice it without a camera, just listening to my body and breathing and enjoying the movements and the flow. Shooting is not "yoga", even if I do yoga poses. Yes, sometimes I almost forget the camera but mostly I try to do as symmetrical poses as possible. I try maybe a dozen times a pose until it's the right angle, correct lines, shadows cover my intimate parts and face. Usually I don't give up until I'm happy. Even if I feel a bit of soreness and tiredness. So that's not yoga. But without yoga there wouldn't be my art.

At the moment of this photo I was trying new poses so many times that I felt my heart rate was up, wrists were pretty tired and shaking a bit. Sometimes I hate when things don't go to plan. When the light doesn't work, when I don't find balance, when I'm not flexible enough. But that's OK, It's part of creating something. I guess. And afterwards I feel great!

So keep in mind: You can do amazing things but don't give up if you don't succeed the first time. And when you browse photos on social media, remember that those are usually the best picks from many tries. ?
