I get asked about what is my most difficult pose in this account. It depends on the person for sure. Our background, anatomy, technique and physical health affect our capability. Some poses that are very easy to learn for certain people are hard for others. That's also one reason why there is no sense to compare yourself to others. We are different with different strengths and weaknesses.
❤
For me this pose is maybe the hardest in my account. Actually yesterday I succeeded in touching my head with my toes for the first time. It's not only the balance but the flexibility that is needed in this pose required a lot of work from me and I still have a lot of room for improvement.
❤
Even I (and I think most of us) want to really learn new poses but that's not the point of yoga. I want to remind all the beginners and people who have never tried yoga yet, that people who can't do any advanced poses can be "better" in YOGA than people who can do spectacular handstands. Yoga is also and mostly a mental and spritual practice.
❤
But I have to say... after I've done a physically challenging yoga practice that includes poses like this, it's easier to empty my mind, just to be present and breath. ?❤
