ok, so we know the satc reboot has been... questionable, to say the least. 😧😧 BUT, this week's period-themed storylines got us feeling all the feels.

in this week's episode, charlotte's daughter lily decides she wants to start wearing tampons, and charlotte jumps at the chance to teach her. que calamaties as lily can't find the string, her hole and more... but beyond the usual satc awkwardness, lay a genuine and heartfelt moment of a mother brushing aside social taboos to make sure her daughter got the education she needed, and knew she could discuss her period with her mother.

we LOVED seeing this period storyline on tv [as well as a later storyline discussing menopause and flash periods], and it got us wishing we'd had this kind of prime time representation when we'd started bleeding... which could have saved us a LOT of anxious tampon insertion [and wasted tampons...]
