WE WANT TO SEE MORE NIPPLES 👏👏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ glitter. shells. emojis. spatulas. flowers. paper. faces.... you name it, we've seen it being used to cover us female nipples on social media. social media platforms seem to find the sight of a nipple so offensive, it would rather see a spatula or spoon covering it than show it in all its glorious, nipple-y glory. go figure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ whilst men are allowed to roam free with topless pics on social media, female bodies are still kept under wraps, and any sign of a nipple roaming free is immediately met with reports and 'indecent imagery' alerts. this isn't the only thing that's silenced - visible period blood famously got poet Rupi Kaur's image banned from social media, and even the word 'vagina' can leave FB ads trembling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ whilst we understand not EVERYONE wants to show off their nips in pics [but what a bloody wonderful world it would be...], we are here for the right to show off our wonderful bodies in all their glory, and vote that 2021 is the year nipples are given their chance to shine. who's with us? 👊👊
