but seriously, ever looked in your undies and wondered wtf your period blood actually means? as we all know, education around menstruation is seriously underdeveloped, so we're here with ohne babe @whatmegandoes to get you in the know.
🧡 bright red blood - this indicates a steady, healthy flow.
🧡 dark brown or dark red blood - still very normal! darker blood means it's slightly older and has had time to oxidise.
🧡 pink blood - this is when blood can mix with cervical fluids, which can happen if you're on hormonal birth control as you have a lighter flow.
🧡 orange or grey - if your period blood is orange or grey, this could signal that you need to make a GP appointment and just get everything checked out to make sure your vagina is happy. don't panic though babe, antibiotics can usually clear any issues.
