☀️ 'the discrimination against women menstruating in South Asian culture is so deep rooted in misogyny and has been considered impure and a taboo to talk about, for a long time. We are often made to hide away for the time we are menstruating and denied entry into kitchens, talking to men, touching people or entering our place of worship and a lot more... it's time to redefine the myths about it and discuss solutions on how we can help and finally eradicate the shame so many of us have had to go through and give the next generation a chance to understand and be comfortable in their own bodies' ☀️
